Artists from around the area showed off their goods at the 17th annual Edgewater Arts and Music Festival Sept. 14.
Old River Road was closed to cars and lined with booths, display paintings, sculptures and jewelry.
The Ford Assembly Plant Auto Show was held across River Road in the Edgewater Commons parking lot. Eugene and Barbara Vitale won the top prize with their 1969 Ford Mustang. The auto show commemorates the history of the former Fort plant in the borough.
The arts festival was sponsored by The Edgewater Arts Council, with additional funding from local advertisers, and the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
It featured out-of-town artists, but also gave a chance for locals to showcase work.

Debra Tobia is a photographer from Edgewater. She worked in book publishing for 25 years but got into photography seriously after 9/11.
"I wanted to do something to look at all the beauty in the world," she said.
Her company’s name is Second Focus.
"You should take a second to focus on the beauty around you," she said. "I love when you get that moment (of discovery)."
She was raised in Montana so she does a lot of nature shoots.
"I really love the spiritual powers of water," she said.
Another local artist, David Master, recently moved to the borough from Teaneck. His works range from sculptures to paintings, and are sometimes connected to each other.
"I mostly deal with narratives," he said. "I try not to be constrained by one style, it depends on what kind of story I want to convey."
His work is featured with other artists in his online gallery, www.benzevart.com.
